Yes you will have to use your registered email ID. OINP probably wont share your status over emails. Although you will be notified by them only on your registered email Id. Your agent should provide you atleast that email id and password. He wont share with you the portal password as you might...

I suggest you to reach out to them. Check if you have any ADR not fulfilled. Because i submitted on 11th sept and its in DIP right now.
