I was on a study permit applying for a sowp, as my spouse is also on a study permit and is fulltime

Lawyer is too expensive, I did alot of research on sowp and I qualify as my common law partner is a fulltime student here in canada, I just wanted to find out if I also have to show proof of funds and how much I have to show as I am already in canada.

Applying for sowp from inside canada, as my common law partner is a student here, my pgwp got refused due to i didnt submit original transcript now I am beyond the 90 days from study permit expiry, but I am still within 90 days to restore my status.

I think t A requirement for SOWP is that either you or your spouse have a valid work or study permit, so makes sense if that's not a requirement

Is a requirement of sowp that you must have valid status as well?? Where can we find this, all our research pointed that the spouse had to be fulltime in school as it's a study permit holder???? And also prove common law??

My friend was going to restore status as a visitor but when she called cic, they said she could just restore as a worker since she qualifies for a SOWP it would cost her 455$ 200 restoration 100 open work permit fee and 155 work permit fee
