Proof of Citizenship AOR timeline and delivery method

Updating that the application we submitted 9-2020 is now 'decision made' as of this week. I'll update when we receive the certificate. Timline is: Sent Sept 2020 Received Sept 22 2020 AOR 8-18-2021 Started processing 01-19-2022 Decision made 2-7-2022 I believe, this doesn't have a date next to...

*** September 2020 - Outland Spousal (Family Class) Sponsorship ***

Just thought I'd check back in, my medical has never updated. I went to my appointment in April. I'm guessing at this point somebody goofed something. Anyone else waiting three months for medical approval?

Anyone else waiting nearly 6 weeks on medical approval? I had my exam way back in April.. lol

That may be what it shows in their system. I just got AOR a few days ago, when I log into my ECAS it says my background check is in process. It seems unlikely to me that it actually is, but, that's what it says.

It's not there yet, but, I did find where it would show it. It still says $0, but, I bet it's one of those things that takes a few days to update. Thank you

So- for some reason I just got an email stating they were refunding $415. I cannot imagine why that would be, we got SA yesterday. That's weird right? Edited to add, I searched around a bit and that must mean we paid the wrong amount. Obviously, we need to resubmit the payment. Will they send...

Proof of Citizenship AOR timeline and delivery method

Just bumping this up and including the information that my spouse applied for our daughter's proof of citizenship in Sep 2020 and it is 4/2021 and her application doesn't even have a temporary number yet.

So, just some screenshots of my account now that I can link it. I'm a bit confused because it seems like it's just submitted, not in processing, but, says background check is already processing. Is this just what it looks like in this stage of it? I just ask because it seems like everyone else...

I'm definitely not going to withdraw it at this point- I just know that I made enough little errors where there's a possibility of it getting returned. I hadn't looked at the other sheets recently, I didn't realize that everyone else passed us long ago.. lol I was picturing another 7 month wait...

The additional cost to be added to my husbands plan is more than he earns and double what I earn.

Silly question, I still can't even get a temporary number. My application arrived at the end of September. We were hoping to move over quickly to be able to use medical services. Basically, I need to see a doctor and I can't get insurance. I'm trying to stall, but, our only other option is...

*** September 2020 - Outland Spousal (Family Class) Sponsorship ***

I was kind of concerned that we would get caught up with bad timing. I remember seeing brand new inland applications getting temporary AOR right away, while people from April Inland are still waiting. Unfortunately, it would seem that new applications are getting scanned immediately on intake...

Yes, for whatever reason you don't get an immediate email. Two weeks later or so you get a response.

Thank you for thinking of me- unfortunately I cannot get my temporary number because both I and my sponsor are outside Canada. I did send a document to try to attach and they sent me an email back asking me to resend with my application number, which of course I cannot access because I cannot...

*** September 2020 - Outland Spousal (Family Class) Sponsorship ***

Usually applications from the US have been sent to Mississauga for the rest of the processing after AOR, SA and biometrics. But, Covid has changed things, so who knows, could get lucky and get Ottawa instead which has been processing a lot faster. Unfortunately, no way to know for sure, but, I...

My spouse and I are both in the US, so unfortunately the number doesn't work for me to even check. I did attempt to send in an update for my application, my husband's employer's name changed, so, sent in that update. I'll let you know if they respond.

    MARCH 2020 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

For March 19th, there are 9 people still waiting according to the sheet, but, only you and one other has actually been online in the last few months. Most of the sign in names that are still left on the sheet for March 19th without an AOR don't actually match an account. You could have had the...

    MARCH 2020 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

I was curious, so I went through the March sheet. Of those approximately 85 who haven't marked that they've heard anything from immigration, whether AOR or Biometrics, 46 don't have accounts and an 15 additional haven't been online since August or before. In other words, there are only around 24...

The border being closed between the US and Canada doesn't apply to returning Canadians and their spouses and children. I could show up at the border and so long as I have proof of my husband's Canadian citizenship, proof of our relationship, a quarantine plan and enough evidence I would leave...
