Visa stamping can take anywhere from 1 week to 2 depending on your country. Ours is Delhi and we sent out passport during christmas time (brillianto_O) and only got it back in Jan 12th 2020.

Dont assume that...ours was completed in MISSISSAUGA and PPR came from MISSISSAUGA...we only submitted passport at Canadian Visa Office of New Delhifor visa stamping.

Yes I was outland but mine was not transferred to NDVO even though my wife is Indian.

That could be for many reason but mainly to verify PA side...from what I have read in these forums, NDVO tends to take a lot of time but cannot tell for sure!

If your file has been transferred to NDVO that means more in depth checks needs to be done...that can be for many reasons...one that I can think of is the travel history on the PA. And yes CPCM completes non complicated files much faster...in my case it was done under a month once it was sent to...

Ghost update simply means that someone has touched your file and is working on it...but in all honesty, through out my entire process until PPR I did not get a single ghost update and either did my lawyer!

I agree with Belarusian.... if you constantly keep calling is when it becomes problematic but ordering notes is your right to know! No harm in that. Your lawyer just dont want to do the extra work!

If you have completed bio and med before the file transfer happened then system (ecas usually) get updated with the medical stating (medical received). In my case it was after the DM on PA side. After PPR is when my agent saw the BIO PASSED msg in GcKey.

It took about 3 weeks or so.
