Hi! After 2 years of waiting, we've just received our passport with the counterfoils. Thanks for the help and advise in this group. However my passport is expiring. I may need to renew the passport before my entry to Canada. Do you have any idea if I can just bring the old passport with the...

They asked us for medicals again. Last time we did medicals was May last year, so I guess the 6 month extension is already finished. This is frustrating. Hoping that these set of new medicals that we will have will be the last that they will need before they decide to give us the visa already.

Thanks! Nice to hear that this step won't take so long. Did you do another set of biometrics? Or its just passport stamping and CoPR release?

Yeah, I already sent a number of webforms. They've only replied generic emails though. I hope they start giving out those PPRs to us soon.

I also ordered last October. It says I passed the eligibility, criminality, medical and info sharing. The last line also indicated Final: Approved. However, no PPR still which is sad.

Hello everyone, My partner’s passport is expiring on September 2021. We received our GCMS notes last November and it said that the final assessment is “approved” but the application is still “open” and “in progress.” We also saw our COPR details in the GCMS notes. The COPR expiry date in the...

Wow, I thought we're the only one that was stuck in security screening. I ordered GCMS last july/august and it says we're still in security screening. Ordered new one this week. Hopefully there are positive changes this time.

Wow, is this true? Why can't they finish all the backlogs in previous months first? And they're still issuing ITAs just to hit their yearly quota. It's just sad and frustrating.

Hi guys. Just want some clarification. When we get the CoPR, how much time is given to us to allow enter Canada (given that there's no travel restriction)? Will it depend on the validity of the medical results? Asking this because we want to delay our entry as late as possible. Thanks!
