    PR renewal urgent question.

When you take a photo, make sure that you tell them it's for a PR application so there's different photo specs needed for different application. After you get your picture, make sure you compare it to their example and see if it passes the guidelines.

That's 26 days the moment they received your application in their mail room. So Nov 27 plus give or take 26 days, that's how long you're application will take to process. I'm not sure now tho if you have to do the biometrics part since that one is a brand new requirement.

PR Renewal for Family Only - Need urgent help!

Your family members can renew with no problem if they met the RO. You don't have to renew together even though you live or came together. That's a good plan to renew when you finally meet your RO. A lot of people renew their PR card anyways like years after it expired so you'll be fine.

You'll need to apply for the PR card yourself because of the signature part. You have to also apply for PRTD in Dubai (if there's a processing office there) so you can come back in the country.

    PRTD consequences

You can apply for the PR card as soon as you land. As long as you hit your RO and there's no reason for them to deny your PRC application, apply ASAP. You're still a PR even if your card is expired.
