I dunno if you got a different letter than the one I did from Detroit or not but mine said that my visa could only be issued at the Detroit office. There was a URL in the e-mail they sent with instructions on how to send things to Detroit.

Have you already changed your drivers license from Michigan to Ontario? If so how did it go? Just curious because it's going to be something I have to do soon and I'm not sure what to expect.

Did anyone else have a visitor record stapled into their passports when they had to send it in after PPR? I'm trying to decide if I'm supposed to just leave it in there or if I should take it out before I send it.

Yeah that's what mine says too. I was just logging on and seeing the application received link for a while without clicking on it then my husband said click on it and see what it says and low and behold the medical results received had been added.

I've been in Canada since May when I finished school. I get bored sometimes not being able to work while my husband is gone for 10 hours a day or so during the week but there's always something to do even if it's not fun and exciting. Winter is going to be a bit worse but I'll deal with it...

I think it means nothing. My address was returned too. It was there when I was first able to check it, then disappeared for a while, and now it has returned.

kourts - Sorry that CIC is being so difficult for you. Just thought I'd let you know that the e-mail I received from Buffalo after my husband was approved to sponsor me was the same e-mail that you received and only said the date that it was received in Mississauga.

Congrats to those of you who have gotten PPR! I'll try not to be too jealous ;) I was sent an e-mail from Buffalo on August 24th stating they were confirming my application was received on June 22, 2011. Is this AOR or something else? Anyway I'm assuming Buffalo has my application otherwise...
