The easiest way for the proof of address is Leasing agreement. You can google “Alberta leasing agreement”, and you will find a typical form. You will be as a landlord and your mother will be as tenant. That it.

I have a question to people from AB who already got their DM (approved as a sponsor). Do you previously sponsor (or co-sponsor) anyone? Is it anyone (from AB) here who was previously a co-sponsor, and now got DM to sponsor their parents?

It's already 5 months for me "in progress". I am also a co-sponsor for my mother in law. She became a Permanent Resident 10 day before I sent application for my parents. I assume that CIC is checking her for "getting social assistance".

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

In GCSM notes, check "Outgoing" section. Did CIC send any letters to the province? If "yes", in the "Incoming" does it show that CIC receive any response from the province? and I assume, on the first page of GCSM notes, the third row "Updated Date" means when they touched your file last time.

yes, It's hard to believe but my application is "in process" since Mid June. CIC received my application in April. In GCSM notes, they called is as "social assistance check". We sponsored in-laws last year. I think, CIC checks whether they got social assistance. Due to Alberta not answering, my file is still in progress. I do not see other cause for so long delay.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

My "in process date" is in middle of June. It seems from GCSM notes that CIC, after waiting 3 months, resent that request letter again. I called an agent, and he told me he can't see in my file whether they got reply or not. So, I'd like to know what is written in GCSM notes after CIC got reply...
