WE WON our appeal may 12,2021 - that is over 10 mths ago. we just received email for my husband to redo his medical. Then PPR - he will be here soon.

when someone is denied you can Appeal the decision within 30 days. We hired a lawyer. Cost us $7,500 but we WON our hearing (appeal - court date). it has been a very painful nightmare. Torture and cruelty. But my hubby will be here soon - he is redoing medical next week

You have a loooong wait still. Appeals are done in canada so yes it sits in mississauga CPC for a very long time. Then it goes to applicants country visa office. This is a nightmare

We paid all fees at the very beginning. Nothing was returned to us. we have it all figured out - they only wanted us to pay the $50 travel document fee. I believe everyone must pay that before arriving here.

I dont think we have to. But we have to pay $50 for Permanent Resident Travel Document … thats where the link took us

Sent in application and they received it Aug 12th - started processing Oct 21st. Just received email last week requesting Biometrics - then, the very next day - another email requesting his medical. This seems fast. But how long of a wait once all that is handed in?? Living with the unknown just...

Not sure if this is useful to anyone but i sent in our application and they received it August 12. Just found out that they started processing last monday Oct 21 - so that means it took them exactly 2 mths and 9 days to open it. (Canadian wife sponsoring Moroccan Husband)

If i remember correctly, thankfully there is no age requirement for this appl. (Meaning it doesnt state anywhere that age between spouses is an issue) I have heard many cases that were approved and some had major gap like 30-40 yrs. We shall see Inshallah our future has big plans
