Reapplying has helped a few I know whose application is in Abu Dhabi office. I believe yours is there too since its from Pakistan. But since you received confirmation for family reunification confirmation you can try waiting for a couple more weeks. Its upto you.

If it is for family reunification, it will be better if you reapply as they are responding within 14-30 business days in most cases. If it's tourism I think you will need to wait.

It's Abu Dhabi. All the best. Also raise webforms every 2-3 weeks to remind them it's family reunification. They don't seem to care really but you can try.

Hi, did you hear anything from AUH after the ghost update?

Well this is from my personal experience. We didnt have to reapply. Just applied for a normal TRV. We received a request for medical and additional fee of 200 cad to process TRP. No new application was made.

There is no option to convert etc. but our baby’s PR application was submitted in June since my husband already is inCanada

What is your child’s actual purpose of visit? Please select accordingly. If it is to travel with parents who are PR , you can select visit. Its may be approved or rejected or changed to TRP.

You can apply for a normal TRV for your child. They will convert it to TRP from Abu Dhabi embassy if you meet the requirements. Will ask you to do medical and pay CAD 200 additional fee for processing. We applied in June for our baby. And received medical and fee request just last week. So took...
