Glad to see DM's are finally coming to the December applicants again! We received AOR 2 from Mississauga yesterday. The PA's side had said "Application Received" since February but it has now changed to In Process. Hopefully we all receive DMs soon. PA is from the UK.

    DECEMBER 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Someone in the January 2020 thread had a request for additional documents 2 days ago and their file updated yesterday (from CPC-M). They are probably still working on them.

    February 2020 Spousal sponsorship Outland

I'm not sure if this works for everyone but we couldn't link our application for a long while either. I was pretty sure it was the Applicants Personal Information section (where you pick Passport/ Place of Birth) that was messing us up. So I filled in every other detail except that section (I...

    JANUARY 2020 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yeah, that price is right for the U.K. We just had ours done in Manchester last week and it was that price. It came as a shock to us too. And they tested the P.A for all of those things too.

Wow! I've been complaining about having to drive down to London to do his Biometrics (3.5 hour drive (one way) for a 15 minutes appointment) but your journey was much worse. It definitely put me into perspective. Thankfully, there is a place to do medicals closer to where we live.

Yes, I used my receipt number (IMM 5401) and I put my (the sponsor's) details in and it worked. I can now see the process of our application instead of the "we can't identify you using the information you provided" page I was getting before. The receipt number was on the payment confirmation...

    DECEMBER 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

I'm so glad you're getting a quick process this time. I think we're all terrified of our applications being lost and I'm so sorry yours actually was. I can imagine the 3 week wait was hard enough to get your AOR so I'm really happy you didn't have that long to wait. Let's hope the rest of your...

Me too! I keep saying that it's too early for us to get our AOR yet (application was received on December 27th) but I check religiously every day (sometimes multiple times) and keep second guessing if I did the application right! It will come, it's just so hard being patient.

    URGENT: Mistake in form IMM5533e

I have a question that sort of piggy backs off this questions. We answered 'no' to this question but I am starting to feel like we should have answered yes. The background: In 2010, my partner (unmarried at the time) and I had been in a relationship for a year and a half and thought we would...

Experiences from Sponsors living outside of Canada

Hello all, I am a Canadian and am currently living in the United Kingdom with my English Spouse on a Spousal visa. My visa expires in April 2020 and instead of applying for Permanent Residency here, my husband and I have decided that we want to move to Canada and have a fresh start there. I am...
