I believe it’s now with Etobicoke office to email you your landing interview appointment. No idea when they’ll contact you though but keep an eye on your Spam folder just in case the email ends up in there.

I was refunded $85 as well. And yes it’s the biometrics fee. I guess IRCC’s letting you know they don’t need your biometrics

$275 or $255? That would be your OWP fee (if you paid for it)?

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Hi, I’m a May applicant, just jumping in here to help put your mind at ease. It took over 2months for IRCC to send the Sponsor the AOR in my case. And after that another 2.5 months before the Principal Applicant received any correspondence. My suggestion is to wait (yes I know it’s hard)...

I can imagine how disappointing it must feel. Have you called IRCC for an update? I always get through to an agent (within half an hour) when I select 3-4-1-0

Do you reckon it’s taking a while to clear BGC because of education & travel history? I’m surprised it’s taking this long for you. I keep checking in everyday hoping to see your good news. Hang in there, you’re one day closer.

i actually sent in a webform requesting for my OWP application to be withdrawn. My reason was my PR application has been approved and I’m in implied status with my visitor record. They accepted (because they had not yet started processing the application) withdrew my application and refunded me...

Always best to check! Yeah you heard right :) Re: timeline, once medical is passed, your BGC (that’s been happening in the background) will be completed and you’ll receive that wonderful email stating you’ve passed eligibility! It was a month and 8 days for me....some got theirs even quicker...

Yes indeed. If the doctor’s got emedical, your results will be uploaded directly to IRCC. I’m guessing that’s what they meant. And yes, I noticed with my GCKey that it remained as “your action is required” until you he medical results were received and passed. It took 6days for me but I’m aware...

Hi! No idea as there isn’t a standard timeline for background as I’ve been led to understand. For some it takes a couple of months and for others, several months. There are a few threads on the forum that explain more. Have you checked those out? Try searching, it does make an interesting read.

Getting in touch with a live agent

Hey, I’m not sure you can call any of the offices (but I could be wrong). You can however call IRCC on ‭1 (888) 242-2100‬ and select 3-4-1-0 to speak to an agent

    ANYONE KNOW A PHONE #!?

‭1 (888) 242-2100‬ and select 3-4-1-0 This always works for me. (No need to wait for the prompts) Wait times (if the agents are available) can be up to half an hour. I’ve always chosen to wait it out and I’ve always been able to speak to an agent. All the best! :)
