it was through the on line service. My gckey also says approved and that a COPR was issued 4/21. But I never did an interview so I was quite confused by it

did they tell you why it took so long for your application to be finalized?

It’s possible they will call you in for a relationship interview if that’s the reason they’ve transferred the application. I ordered GCMS notes and it might be a good idea for you to do the same so you know exactly the reason for the transfer. That way you can prepare for whatever they ask for next.

There’s really nothing we can do once this happens. It’s just a longer waiting game. Usually t means they have further questions about your admissibility to Canada or how genuine your relationship is.

Yes. Call the regular number 888-242-2100 then use options 2110 to get to an agent. It seems like you’re hitting prompts for something unrelated to your case when you do this, but an agent always answers and they’re always able to answer my questions when I get through this way.

Call and check. Same was going on with me and I found out they’re transferring my application to etobicoke for further assessment which usually means the application will take a lot longer. Hope the same didn’t happen to you

Still you and I are in the same boat. I also applied July 29. I called them this morning they said the background check is the hold up. Apparently the background check goes through CSIS and IRCC has to wait for them to finish. I’ve never had any criminality in my past so I don’t know why mine...

Getting worried! Haven’t even received SA/AIP or DM yet. Looks like everyone else is almost done. Congrats to you all

Don’t worry. I got a call back from my chest X-ray showing something called a granuloma. Basically as long as it doesn’t show positive for tuberculosis that’s all they’re looking for. I had my medical 11/28 and it was marked as passed on 12/8. Yours should be fine

Interesting. I don’t use gckey and only check on ECAS. It’s said medical received for a while and I’ve been checking every day waiting for “medical passed.” So you think it won’t change and this just means I passed it?
