Hey guys, I sent my application on 27th November and the current status is still Submitted. Is it just me or are there other people who sent their docs ij the last week of Nov and have no updates in their applications?

They always reply back to emails with a generic response. I'll try mailing them again though. Also, as you mentioned there wont be any issues with my application right?

Thanks for the reply :) But does the word limit of the SOP really hurt the chances of getting the visa? I was just trying to be articulte about all the aspects of my past studies and future plans.

Is the probability/chance of getting the visa in the 2nd/3rd attempt the same as in the first attempt? Or the odds keep going against us?

In retrospect, even i think that i did not justify "why Canada" properly and could have given some solid reasons. Do you think this could be the reason for the rejection? Also, any other suggestions/feedback on the SOP? And and should i wait for the CAIPS notes or should i refile with a better SOP?
