Hey, You should actually count the days from Sep 24, the day the process is started. 16 days is not too long, considering the current situation. My husband's passport is also under process from Sep 28 at Ankara.

Hi, thanks! For me it changes to in process on Nov 12. Btw, I know a September applicant whose file was transferred to Ankara in November and her status just changed to in process few days ago. She says apparently before pandemic, it used to take 2 weeks to change to decision made.

Hey there, my sister had a similar situation about two years ago... she applied for visitor visa for her husband before starting the sponsorship process and the file was rejected because of not being tied enough to the home country. I also assume they wouldn’t issue a visitor visa in our cases...
