We received PPR this past Friday. Passports and all required documents were sent in to the Mexico City VAC today! :)

Have you found out yet Mitch if the VAC in Mexico City is going to accept the passport if you mail it in?

I agree with you Mitch. I am in the same position. We have DM but my wife is still not able to come to Canada because we need a piece of paper and a colorful sticker in her passport. I fail to understand how, in this day and age, and especially with electronic Visa's being issued for others...

My take on the article is that they are talking about the immigration system for people immigrating to Mexico. The corruption was in the Mexican Immigration system. I did not read anything about VFS Global nor the Canadian Visa Application Centers. That being said, maybe there is corruption...
