    Hello, today (Dec. 7th) I received a notification that my PR Card was approved (1st Card) after photo resubmission in August (details in my signature). They said they sent the card in the mail, so I'm still waiting for it.

    There's a group of people on this thread in the same situation. Mine is in my signature. From the info we could gather, at the moment, IRCC is working with photo resubmissions received in May 2022. So it should, in theory, be a couple of months away.

    I received PPR from this office last year (Nov. 2021). My timeline is on my signature.

    I used the Canada Post (use the tracking mail option so you can see when the photos reach IRCC). They asked me to also include the photo resubmission letter with the photos.

    That happened to me as well. The only difference is that my dependents got "Approved" while I got a photo resubmission.

    I'm in the same boat, landing June 8th, was asked for new photos August 5th, photos reached IRCC August 12th, no updates.

    I am also relying on Canada Post (tracking status), someone signed for the delivery of the photos. Sadly, I hadn't linked my PR Card application to my cic account until today, so I'm not sure if anything there had changed at some point.

    I have a similar situation, I became a landed PR on June 8th, 2022, Received Photo Resubmit request on August 5th, 2022, Photos received August 12th, 2022 and I am still waiting. Hopefully they'll arrive soon.

    Montreal VO also handles most cases with Review Required (from what I've read on this same post). In my opinion, most of these cases take more time to analyze so that's why most people would say it is slower than other VOs.

    Those are great news! You've been waiting for a long time for an update. This might be the preview of some good news! In our case we had to do re-medicals, but probably because we changed CoR at a point during the processing time.

What you can do, is to read the PPR letter, and find something that says: "If you are unable to submit your passports at this time, please contact us...
