there's no need for the email as long as the work cert it's not on your document checklist. it took mine about 2 months after all my docs & refs were submitted

In my opinion you shouldn't bother changing the already submitted SOP, it might complicate things (I doubt you can retract an already submitted doc). Just hope for the best since the changes are minor I applied on the 22nd of dec, 2019 sent in all my documents and references by the 8th of jan...

That's not completely correct, only paper applications have been suspended. You can still go ahead and apply online and I advice you do so quickly as the visa processing time has increased. Cheers

No. My documents were delivered on the 14th of April and from my observations, persons that submitted theirs in mid February just received CAQ's last week. I'm honestly expecting mine sometime in June. when did your docs get delivered?
