Has anyone ever reached out to Mexico VO by phone? I've emailed them twice but got no reply. Am I able to even reach Mexico VO or should I just call the IRCC number? I submitted requested documents via email to Mexico and just want to make sure they've been received. God forbid Mexico comes...

I wasn't aware of it when I originally submitted the application, but I would assume everyone would need to send it if they are from Cuba. The contrato exclusivo is just something that comes with the Police Certificate. My husband received it but didn't think we needed it for the application, so...

I had a request to send the “contrato exclusivo”, because we forgot to send this with the police certificate. I responded to the email MXICOIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca (as instructed) with a photocopy, and also copied mexico-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca. I haven’t heard anything back, so...

We did yes! His medical exam was done in Guyana on December 3rd, and then on December 6th we got the notification that he passed. Since then, we finally received AOR2 from Mexico on January 24th (we hit the year mark on Jan. 21st). Thats it for now, hopefully something more soon

It's weird, and I remember other people talking about it on here earlier. In the document it says to send documents to the Mexico VO address, but in their actual email it says: "You can submit this information via e-mail, it is not necessary to send these documents on paper to our office in...

I'm not too sure, I haven't had to send any emails or additional documents to Mexico before this. Maybe this can be done through the Webform? I'm sending mine to the email they mentioned in their request (mexico-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca). Not sure if the email address would be different...

I would think it would be okay to send it now. Did you receive your AOR2 yet? We got our AOR2 in the same email as the request for the contract.

Same here, that's why I had NO idea what the email was talking about. When the application states that they need the police certificate, I wish they explicitly stated they needed the contract that goes with it as well. It was just a miss on our part I guess - hopefully once its sent, they'll...

In their request, they mentioned that the contract does not need to be translated so you don't have to worry there. I'm just sending the photocopy as is in Spanish. I will let you know what happens! You might want send your contract now if you have it, just so it doesn't hold up your...

The "contrato exclusivo para la obtención de certificación de antecedentes penale" is what they are requesting, yes. When my husband gave me his original police report to submit, I guess he didn't realize that the contract was important so he didn't pass it on to me. I had no idea :/ They are...

    Mexico

Right?! And the part that's confusing me is they don't necessarily say that the Police Certificate is expired. They only say they need the "Contrato exclusivo para la obtención y legalizatión de CERTIFICACIÓN DE ANTECEDENTES PENALES, issued by the Consultoria Juridica Internacional". But later...

Just received official AOR2 and a request for updated police certificate (we hit the one year mark 3 days ago)! Question for anybody where the PA from Cuba - the letter is requesting specifically for a CERTIFICACIÓN DE ANTECEDENTES PENALES, issued by the Consultoria Juridica Internacional. It's...

Officially at the 1 year mark today! No news since my husband's medical was approved at the beginning of December. Still no news on whether he needs an interview or not. What are the chances they'd send the interview request AFTER the year mark? How long should I wait to contact the Mexico VO...

My husband went to Georgetown, Guyana to do his medical exam. It was 34,000 Guyanese dollars which turned out to be around $165 USD. The info is on IRCC, but i called the office of Surendra Persaud (011 (592) 227 4778) and made an appointment for him there.

I was worried about this too, because we were 9 months in and hadn't received the medical request yet. My husband's application was transferred to Mexico Oct 21st, and we finally received the medical request on Nov 8th. Nothing to be worried about! :)

My husband's from Cuba as well and we're still waiting (one year will be Jan 21st). If you don't mind me asking, where did your wife do her medical exam? We just went ahead and booked my husband's in Guyana for early December. His flight leaves back to Cuba the next day, as they assured me the...
