My visitor visa was denied because my permit had already expired but since I had already applied for a new work permit I was under implied status. I have received my new WP :)

Do you have a current valid visa? Is the ETA still valid? Permits don’t allow you back in the country so you’d need a valid visa. You can check your application status online and call the immigration office to ask why it’s taking longer than expected. Good luck!

You have to make sure you’re opening it with Adobe and not in the browser. Sometimes saving it in a USB drive helps!
