Instead of spouse sponsorship wherein the Couple don’t get a chance to live together unless the spouse has visitor visa , what if the person choose to give up PR, move back to home country to live with family and decide to apply together.... just a thought. I have seen few people asking about it.

Can someone renounce PR voluntarily and apply for it again few months later due to personal reasons? Anybody has ever done this before ? What are the chances of refusing the PR the second time because the candidate has once renounced the same in the past. Please suggest.
