That is exactly what I mean. You MUST have that letter from CIC. Author of instructions never mentioned it.

Must have FP request form from IRCC, that paper which you received with FP request. So, in my case: PR card (UCI#), DL and FP request form (they need address of your IRCC office) I don't know how you get it with just 2 pieces of ID, how will they know where to send results? Better don't...

It seems faster on paper, but no one knows in reality. I think that accredited offices send it straight to national database (Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services) and RCMP check their database also. It is my guess only.
