I have the same visa rejection but it's US visitor visa. I think we should be fine in this situation. Just need a longer wait time as they're taking time to do our background checks. Let's keep it positive~ Good news will come soon~

Yeah I'm an inland candidate, and my background check started at the beginning too. In my notes there's also nothing to show why this takes such long time. I guess we are fine, just have to wait.

Hey I think that's a good sign. From what I learned about the other cases, "Not Applicable" normally means they have already reviewed your additional documents and cleared or will clear your "review required" status. And next step might be eligibility passed or recommend pass. I'd say order...

Yeah, I remember it's around 210ish days for the both rejected cases. I think it's terrible because those two applicants had been waiting for more than 6 tedious months! I'm so sad they had to go through this.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I get the status not changing in Montreal VO till the very end, so I guess I need to be patient (again!) and wait for the notes. Hopefully my case doesn't get delayed for too long for the final decision. Thanks again and have a good weekend!
