My oath was done on the Dec 13th and still I am waiting to get my certificate. We were told to wait at least 6 weeks to get certificate and I am waiting!

After our oath ceremony, the clerk clearly mentioned to us that it would take minimum 6 weeks to get the certificate. They also insisted not to email as it would hamper their processing. I took oath on Dec 13th at Niagara office. It may be different in your case.

1. I got my email 2 weeks before the ceremony. You should get it at least a week before the oath. 2. You don’t need passport rather you need your PR card and 1 other photo ID (I.e Driver License) 3. We said it would take 6 weeks to get the certificate. Hope the answers help.

No print is necessary, however, you can print the last page of the attachment to sign physically and send a picture of that instead of sending digitally signed copy of the oath. You need to have an extra photo ID apart from the PR card. Congratulations and best of luck!

I waited so long to get a test invite and got that at the end of August. A friend of mine has been waiting along with their families to take the oath since February 2022. He applied back in 2020. Ottawa is the slowest office in Canada, and I agree with the statement.

My test was updated as completed on September, 6.

I completed my test on August 23rd, no update regarding test completion yet! I am also from Ottawa. Let's see how long to wait to see the completion update.

I received the test invite to take the test between the 22nd of August and September 11. It has been 6 months passed after the background check completion to get the test invite for me (family-3). Finally, it comes! Ottawa Applicant.
