    I ordered GCMS notes, told them about my situation and the visa got approved in a couple of weeks. I would rather wait for few more weeks instead of immediately ordering GCMS notes as you said your Father visa got approved yesterday only.

    I applied for SIN from US by online method and I got two letters from Service Canada. One letter which has my SIN number and other letter which says that my SIN could not be processed because I did not submit relevant documents. Weird. Had anyone has this experience before ?

    Yes, the first thing they did was invalidated my PR visa, put a stamp on my passport with arrival date, updated my records on their system. And as the PR visa is one time entry, you don't get another chance to enter on the same visa.
