Mine took 36 days. Each application is different and the length of the notes differ accordingly. Usually, notes take between 30-40 days these days.

Also, the generated counterfoil says that the copr is valid till 28/10, which is exactly a year from when I had my medical. The medical review expires on 4/11. @legalfalcon

Another thing that’s been bothering me: I applied for GCMS notes through my cousin on the 6th os September. The only document he was asked to upload was the consent form. He didn’t upload his Canadian passport. Was that supposed to be uploaded as well? Am I supposed to send them an email too?

Haider, did you call them? If yes, how do you call IRCC from Pakistan?

If you're correct and I think you are, that puts off the alarm bells for a couple of weeks. Thanks

I’m a little confused here in reference to when our medical expires. I had mine on the 28th October last year. My online profile says 25th November- You passed the medical exam. Does it expire on the 28th of this month or on the 25th next month?

For me, it’s more about knowing where my application is at. As long as it’s approved, they can take their sweet time. I just hate the absence of any sort of communication. I’m from Pakistan as well.

Writing this again: I applied for GCMS notes through my cousin in Canada. The confirmation email stated that they’ll issue a permanent tracking number, which will replace the temporary one they issued in the email. Can anyone comment on this? It’s been over two weeks now and no permanent...

I applied for GCMS notes through a relative in Canada. They issued a temporary tracking number and the email said that a permanent one will be issued soon. How long does that take? It’s been 10 days.

I got a similar reply to the web form I generated. Kept wondering if the background refers to eligibility in this case. Seems like it doesn’t. But then it doesn’t make any sense to do such diligent work on a file if the applicant’s eligibility is in question.
