Okay, I was visited by a ghost update yesterday. Hope that means something, given that quite a few August AOR folks have already received PPRs. But then again, it may just be a mirage.

Ah, don't they do it on the basis of current trends? You are right in saying that I should not put a lot of stock in their estimated date, given all the variables at play, but it's the only thing I can lean on while the long watch is on :(

Do MyImmiTracker estimations take delays caused due to the holiday season into account? It has predicted my PPR date at January 8, but I really don't know if this factors in the sluggishness that can only be expected over the next three weeks.

The background/eligibilty status is the same for me. Does this mean that we are in the IP2 stage already? Or is it a little too early for that?

FSW-Outland. It is a false IP2, then? They probably haven't even started looking into my eligibility yet?

Am I in IP1 or IP2 stage? The message under the Background Check header on my EE page reads: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." If I am not wrong, this message comes up when one is in the IP2 stage, but I am unsure of this because...

My employment reference letter was signed by the Head of Department, not reporting manager, because that's the policy when it comes to using company letterheads. Have mentioned this in the LoE, but will it be a problem? In any case, the reporting manager's name and contact details are mentioned...
