Your OWP processing time pretty much got reset the moment you sent it back in. Meaning you will be at least waiting as long as the people who applied in the end of november. Sometimes even longer. You dont have to worry about your wife staying, as she has implied status because of your visitor...

That means it started. And you won't get an update on its completion other than AIP and SA

Landing interview is scheduled for January 11th in Calgary Now I dont care about the OWP and hope they take till after so i can get some refund :D They are still working on cases before Christmas guys so dont lose hope!

The Thing is though if you are able to link it, that means they started processing it and its opened. If you cant link it, that might be because something was missing and it will be returned to you

WHOOOOOP WHOOOOP Just got AIP/SA !!! Stupid work permit will most likely not come before haha but who cares now. Rather have PR right away!

Sorry for the confusion. So I paid the sponsorship/PR fees, the Work permit fees, the open work permit fee and then had to pay another 200 when my OWP got returned for restoration of status. Now the Lady working on my PR said the OWP people deducted the $200 for the restoration from the PR fees...

Just had a call from Mississauga because the OWP people in Edmonton used funds they werent supposed to. So movement in both PR and OWP hopefully for me haha had to resubmit a receipt. So make sure to keep all the payment receipts people

Just had a call from Immigration. The Officer started working through my application and needed a receipt number because the Edmonton OWP office apparently messed stuff up and used funds that they were not supposed to haha. So that means there is movement for sure, she also let me know I will...

Most likely the last, because its so close to the end now. This is so unbelievably frustrating and so annoying there is nothing we can do. Mine got returned and then they throw it in the end of the pile again. But now everyone around the date they received mine gets approval but mine still...

Same here, resubmitted my workpermit and they recieved it September 18th nothing yet... so hopefully just a couple days later than the rest

Not everyone always sees the ghost update, but its good news that they are happening. I am hoping next wave of approval goes through today or at least before the end of the week. Approvals mostly seems to come in towards the afternoon so there is hope for today and good signs that sept 23rd...

No Ghost update for me but that means today should be a good day for many. As long as some get the Ghost update that means there will be movement. YAY!

Well I clearly stated as far as I am aware. And yeah there is huge confusion about the implied status and the IEC Visas and its hard to find the right information right away. So hopefully this will actually help people if they use the search bar on this forum to find the actual right...

Sadly yes, very wrong indeed. You would think they would prioritize the work permits especially for PR applicants who cant work yet, so that they can contribute and live of something else than their partner or saved up money

some June people still are waiting and never had theirs returned. So yeah they got super backed up over the Summer and are just getting closer to normal time. So this is all still really good.
