I see!! I wouldn't know much with Quebec applications as it's a totally different process to most. But I would only assume that it's due to covid-19 :/ Good news is that they have open the Client Support Centre and you should be able to contact them and enquire about your application.

You can by all means call IRCC and ask what's going on with your application. You can also order GCMS notes.

Have you already received DM as well? I noticed on the spreadsheet you haven't listed a date for it. A lot have got AIP and DM in the same letter. Also, Vancouver Office is pretty swift in sending out the invitations. I would check in whats happening.

It looks to me like they're requesting for you to apply for a new passport. What's the expiry of your current passport?

By the looks of it, a whole lot of applications are being checked for eligibility at the same time. Whilst many got DM and AIP today, there are a few who got requested for additional documents. The sooner you respond to this request, the sooner you will get your DM.

Really??? wow, there really is no way of telling with CIC. Who knows what the update is really all about.

I thought that too. One CIC agent mentioned that we apparently were still "exempted". But who knows anymore? :confused: It wasn't required for applicants prior to Dec.3'19. But it's CIC, they can literally ask for anything and us not having a say about it. o_O

When you check your CIC account and your application says "Application updated". But when you check it, nothing has virtually changed.
