    I don't think I have seen any cases on how long it takes after resubmission. Did you get an application number? That might help them retrace your application once you resubmit instead of putting you at the back of the queue. What was the issue with your physical presence calculator?

    Was it a Canadian issued ID that expired or your home country's Passport? Was it already expired at the time of application or expired within these three months? If it expired within these three months, I would have expected them to issue you an AOR and ask you to submit a renewed ID. This sucks.

    I wasn't sure since there was no separate biometric appointment for me. They have been asking for fingerprints in India. But over here all they asked for was the picture. And technically the signatures but they never show up in the application when you're trying to upload it on the portal.

    Maybe it's the biometric passport that's being issued. And not all posts have been set up to print those yet. I have read in some cases they are printed in India and then shipped to the consulate abroad.

    The time before police clearance does not count for much. The consulate cannot do anything until your police clearance is cleared. Progress starts after. You should be getting an update early next week. But that update will be something like print initiated. I expect it to take another 2 weeks...

    Do you have access to the details in the developer portal for your application? You might not if BLS filed your application for you. Wanted to check if the history in the portal says something like 'police verification was set to clear etc.'

    Hello! Did you get any update on your application? I got a receipt in an email on 12 March after police visited the local address. But status on the portal still says 'police verification awaited' .

    That was pretty fast for them to come the very next day. My timeline is similar to yours. Police came to my parents’ home on 12mar. The status online still shows police verification awaited. I’d applied at BLS Mississauga on 4Feb.
