It totally depends. Some are given longer duration whereas some are given only a month or two. Since, it is a second visa issue and you are permitted to travel from US now (inspite of COVID), my guess would be shorter duration. But I could be wrong. Let's hope for the best.

As far as I know, when you leave US with your petition in pending status, it will get voided and you might have to apply for a new petition again when you are back to US. If you still have time for your COPR expiry, I would suggest you to wait till you get your H4 approved.

Yes. COPR is for each individual, so if your dependents did not travel with you before its expiry it will be considered expired and we have to start from the scratch for them. We did the soft landing last weekend and came back the same day to avoid all these.
