Ontario Tech and General Draw - 2020

Ontario sent me an NOI this January (tech stream). My CRS score was 465 and I didn't add my spouse because the cut off score is too high nowadays. With my spouse, the CRS would be 461 - which is still more than the required score for the OINP this January ("OINP targeted candidates with a CRS...

Ontario Tech and General Draw - 2020

I've received the NOI. What's the deadline for submitting all the documents? (I guess I have to create a new profile on the ontario website)

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

If there's gonna be third draw in January, the score may drop to 465

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

It really depends on the frequency of draws... if we have 3 draws in January, it is possibile.

spouse cannot be accompanied due to low CS

Hi, I'm in the same situation - spouse in Canada on an "Open spouse work permit" (I'm on PGWP). I can't include her as accompanying spouse because my score would drop to 460 (I don't think the score will drop <= 460 any soon) Should she leave the country for me to apply alone or it's enough to...

passports to cpc ottawa- january 2019

I didn't understand why the passport has to be sent. I live in Canada and I'm from EU country (no need to get a visa to enter Canada), I've just applied for PR, will they require me to send my passport? If yes, why so?

Travel history - difference countries of residence (post ITA)

Ah ok, then I was wrong. I thought that my origin country shouldn't be included in my travel history at all. What should I insert when I have spent 1 year in country B (working) which was neither Canada nor my origin country?

Travel history - difference countries of residence (post ITA)

I am currently a resident of Canada (work permit). I have been a resident in the Netherlands, which is not my origin country, for one year. With regards to the travel history, my understanding is that I don't need to include trips to my current country of residence (Canada) even if they were...

Education and Work for which I don't claim points - post ITA

I have degrees and job experience for which I don't claim points ( I only claimed points for my Canadian degree and Canadian work experience) - I received an ITA on Wednesday. Should the other job positions and degree be mentioned only in the "personal history" or in the work and education...

    Travel History post ITA

I guess I'll need some time to figure it out then... maybe I need to decline this ITA ? That's really unfair though... my degree is Canadian and I paid all my tuition in Canada. I even had to pay taxes in Canada for my international income during the period I was on a study permit.

    Travel History post ITA

Yes, and it was part of the requirements for the program, despite being a Canadian master's degree. Is this going to be a problem in my application? Should I explain it somewhere in the application? Or the transcript will be enough? Or worse, this is going to be a major issue in the application?

    Canadian Education points

I'm kinda in the same situation... my Master's was from an accredited Canadian university and included a period abroad. Is it true that it can't be used to claim points for Canadian education?? Right now I live and work in Canada, but I've just realized during my Master's I spent less than 8...

    Travel History post ITA

Yes, I'll need to provide a police certificate but that's not my concern. I'm just afraid my Canadian education (Master's) will be questioned because of the time spent abroad - even though it was part of the Master program (as in my transcript).

    Travel History post ITA

Hello, I've just received the ITA and I'm working on my travel history. I had a peculiar situation: I graduated from my Master's in Canada, but since it was a double degree program, I spent more than half of the program length (> 6 months) in the EU at the partner university, despite paying...

    PR and job resignation

Hello everyone! I'm currently working in Ontario as a skilled worker (open work permit) and I plan on applying for Express Entry under Canadian Experience Class. However, I am not interested anymore to work as an employee since I've started my own business. I have a couple of months left to...
