I had a baby during our application and our application was a spousal sponsorship inland application and cic told me we didn't need to because they child is Canadian and they are not going to be added to the application. Our application is finalized now. Good luck!

Just a thought, after receiving AIP your able to get medical coverage, check if you have to pay for the second medical. When you book your appointment ask the receptionist if it's covered. When you paid the initial fee its because you have no health coverage. I may be wrong but it's worth a try.

We received our landing letter with our appointment date :D it is scheduled for February 17 @ 1:30. So pleased and I can't wait :P

We received one letter today from Vegreville, and we and are still waiting on the letter from Hamilton.

No letter as of yet, hopefully this week. We have to wait until the local office contacts us. I will let u know when we get our letter :)

There is no limitation with 9 series SIN numbers. CRA links the two numbers once you get the 5 series number. The 9 series number lets us now you don't have perm status. You are able to call CRA to confirm the linking.

My ecas updated today. A letter was mailed January 17, 2012 :D Congrats Ocean end!! That sounds very positive. Give them a call.

My ecas has not changed yet, but I called and they confirmed its completed. I just have to wait for the landing letters. I think u will get DM soon. They can't land u until the medicals are up to date. Our meds were sent 2 weeks before our application was mailed. I will be wishing u good luck...
