When I referred to "submitting documents" in this post, I was just referring to my AOR date. I didn't submit any documents. Although in early 2021 I submitted webforms (and got no meaningful responses) to inform them of a change in my circumstances.

That's great news! Obviously none of us can make predictions about IRCC since they are so unreliable and erratic in their processes. As mentioned above, it would be counted as foreign work experience. Not only that but IRCC does not consider an independent contractor (even if it is Canada) to be counted towards this work experience...
