Unfortunately that's all of the information I have. The agent didn't ask any questions about her status or assign her one. He just let us in.

Me (CDN citizen) entered Canada with my spouse (USA citizen) - no record of landing

My wife, kids, and I entered the Pacific Truck Crossing on November 22, 2020. We went inside and filled out some paperwork, and were let in without issue. That being said, we were not given a record of landing, or any sort of valid status document. As a result my wife can't get an SIN, work, or...

Urgent Processing - Citizenship Application (Lets meet here )

Update: She submitted a webform inquiry, received the generic response, and applied to it with everything in the application that she had sent. Hoping to hear something back, but it doesn't matter much now I don't think since it won't get anywhere by the 23rd when we reach the border.

Yes, it was labeled as urgent exactly as they described. Absolutely no word. We'll have to try to cross the border and hope for the best and that an agent believes us.

Permanently leaving Canada just after submitting my citizenship application

I was born in Canada. I have no issue with someone who leaves and gets their citizenship. It has no bearing on anything. I'm glad they want to go home and still become Canadian. I'm proud to share my country with everyone who wants to experience every part of it. There's nothing about this...

    April 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

I am applying for proof of citizenship for my twin daughters (7 months old), my wife, and my mother in law. I am Canadian by birth. My MIL has hers through her father who was born in Ontario. My girls get it through me. My wife may not get hers (slim chance) so I'll have to get her a spousal...

    Proof of Citizenship timeline

My wife, mother in law, and my twin girls have their applications for their citizenship certificates (just proof, not attached to an immigration file) sent in. Entry into Canada before issuance of documents?

Wow thanks for the speedy reply! So Canada will allow land based entry to all of us, even my wife? She doesn't need a visa ahead of time, and they'll allow her to enter as a visitor knowing she will be entering on the basis of applying for permanent residency?

Can you apply for two things, and citizenship certificate questions

My wife MAY be Canadian. We sent an application to see. If she isn't (good chance) when do we apply for the spousal visa? Could we do it now while another is processing as a backup? Also, anyone have any ideas how long it'll take to get an application number in the mail/email once the packets...
