Did you get any update? I got exactly the same GUs and nothing happened afterwards.

You can use either with your UCI# ( located on your work permit and study permit ) or your passport#. You won't link successfully unless your files reached/assigned to an officer, so keep trying ;)

No one can sure about its meaning, but as I saw within most of the guys here and it also happen for myself, most of the first GU is related to background checking. It means the officer either started your background check, or received/updated the background result.

Mine is exactly the same time for AOR and GU :) Except I applied on 1:43pm EST, and I didn't recieve any ADR yet. I uploaded all the requirements upfront though.

Hey, try to link with DOB or passport#. You can’t change it before your file assigned to an officer ( we call it Link ). You have to wait a bit more though, as 2:17pm

You probably and sadly need to wait few more months. IRCC reached to 1:15pm EST so far -applicants able to link - so there are 10+ hours ahead of you.
