So the Visa expiration date is tied to the medicals expiration? For example, if I get CoPR today and my medical expire in January 2021, I get visa which expires in January 2021?

My understanding was that CoPR has an expiration date, tied to medicals or passport validity, whichever comes first. Hence you have to enter Canada before CoPR expires. That's what it says on their website. Unless they have changed things because of Covid...

Seems like Sydney VO back at work. Just got a ghost update. Aor dec 9, PNP Alberta. Last webform in July showed security started, so hopefully this means security complete.

Interesting. If they decide to move forward with this it says in the document they foresee March 31 2021 as a date for contract award. So this would mean nothing significant is happening till then!

Previously as a reply to my webform questions I would receive a detailed answer, such as eligibily valid, background check valid, visa office is... etc. etc. and there would be a name of an agent in the end. This time I received a very generic answer to my specific questions, in both French and...

I submitted webform right after I submitted CV/Resume, and webform reply said that security is started, which wasn’t the case before. For me they asked a brief description though, not a detailed one, don’t know if that makes a difference or if it even means anything :rolleyes:

AOR Dec 9th. I read in the forum sometimes this means almost nothing sometimes it means Security Screening, in which case it would take much much longer! Hope its not the case!
