Hi All. Can I apply for surrender certificate by attaching receipt for application of Canadian passport as I am still awaiting my Canadian Passport. I would be visiting the BLS centre for surrender certificate application.

Yes they did send an approval email in which they mentioned to download COPR from this link. I applied on my own.

Not sure what VO means..but the COPR document says that Became PR at CALGARY IRCC. I reside in Toronto though

Thanks. I am biometric exempted. I did not received any ghost updates. I received the COPR document through the new portal they are currently testing with some selected applicants.

Thanks. I am biometric exempted as I had given it in 2018 as well. IRCC portal is still not reflecting the overall approved status. Background is showing as still pending. However, I got COPR in the new portal.

They send you a letter for remedical. That letter will appear under Messages section in your portal

Even ours was showing as Medical passed before Nov 1, but still we are now asked to redo.

Medical and background check are showing as pending in my case. Yes I am the primary applicant and we are family of 4. All 4 are asked to redo medical.

AOR date : March 19,2020 (CEC inland). Asked to redo medical on Nov 1 as previous medical was done in Jun 2019. Anybody in same situation? Is it a good sign to ask for redo of medical?
