I repent not doing this and making my profile last year in May when my ECA and IELTS was done and I waited for my husband's IELTS score. That time I was at 457 and would have got the ITA. By the time my husband's ECA came and I made my profile in July, it was too late. Now I am ready to go for...

You can take either TCF or TEF and need to take all four modules ie listening, reading, writing and speaking and get CLB7 for the extra 40 points. TCF is easier than TEF as per many exam takers but TEF is an older exam so more material is available and many times in speaking and writing, the...

I am a lawyer too. Are you planning to do the JD or the FLTP (foreign lawyers training program)? Because a masters (LLM) will not give you the license to practice law in Canada. You will have to get your NCA assessment done and give the challenge exams to get a equivalency certificate and then...

And you can use the time to perfect your French speaking and listening. It is great that you progressed by self learning to B2 in such a short time. Bonne chance!

When I started my french learning, one teacher told me it is impossible to do in anything less than 2 years for a new learner with no French background. But I think it is doable in 9-12 months, depending on the efforts. I don't want to discourage others. Ofcourse learnings new language and...

Does not B2 in all four modules of TEF/TCF gets 42 points? I thought the same from the CRS calculator. Can you throw some more light on this. Thanks

There are more sections in TCF than TEF right? Have you done a comparative analysis of the two tests? Also TCF is better if one is targeting Quebec.
