It's different for govt employees, normally background check gets completed in 2-7 days. When was the medical passed for you and is it in NDVO?

Does it take longer to process if parents worked in the Government jobs? My timelines are similar to you and we haven't got any update after medical passed except pre-arrival letter in Sep and my parents worked in Govt. jobs.

There's certainly some link in that email and the next status change. For 90% the DM and PPR comes within 2 weeks after pre-arrival email and I noticed this in timeline sheet. Although VO's differ in this time range but I wonder why it's different for some at same VO. Anyone has more ideas...

Why for some the pre-arrival emails comes on the same day as DM or PPR and for others it's many days after ? It's been 19 days since pre-arrival email and still nothing changed for status. Please advise what does this mean ? Do they ask for additional information if this happens or they don't...

@Chikki24 it takes about 7 months from AOR to SA, you will get good news in next week or so.

Seems like things were moving faster at NDVO until April and slowed down ever since !

Nothing after Medical passed in May and PCC sent to New Delhi, it's almost 3 months. Is there anyone got passport request with similar timeline from New Delhi ?

Yes I am in similar timelines, medical was requested in early May and Received by May 10 and nothing updated after that, not even medical passed. When were your medical received and passed dates ?
