I applied on 19May and still haven’t received any response other than application submitted ! I don’t know how much time they take now for tourist visa because earlier it was pretty quick..

Does anybody know how long IRCC is taking to process infant tourist visa applications. I submitted the application in mid May and still haven’t received any update and website application doesn’t show any progress other than submission… Are they taking months to approve now ?

I have 2 years left now, I couldn’t travel before due to unavailability of flights due to pandemic plus I was pregnant so couldn’t fly due to medical reasons. Am now stressed if my PR status would get impacted due to me not being there and what if I reach there with few months less in 2 years...

How long one has to stay in Canada to maintain PR status in the 5 year period ? If a person lives for short duration and has to go back to origin country for some reason and then comes back when he is left with 2 years then would the PR be still valid ?

Hey, quick question - when you say sign on behalf of baby, do you mean sign with babies name ? I thought as parents we should be signing the forms ourselves ..?

Hey, how did you sign the family form while filling up the application for visitor visa for your baby? Did you sign the form as you ? Am confused because each application is for the applicant but in case of a baby , they cannot sign ..

Hello, Can someone advise how to sign the forms (representative and family forms) when filling an application for a baby? The forms ask for declaration from the applicant and in my case applicant is my 7month old baby. How do I complete the forms where it asks for his signature ? Thanks

As far as I know babies don’t need biometrics and medical but I also haven’t filed TRV yet, I will Let you know when I do and get to know more. I think once you reach Canada you can figure out a way for baby to stay there either on trv or PR. Maybe the backlog would clear by then, if not then...

Only I am PR, I got married post getting PR and then got stuck in pandemic. I cannot goto Canada alone leaving my baby behind and sponsor my baby, he needs to go with me
