Ray of Hope - 130th Draw

Personally, I wouldn't redo it. As you said, IELTS isn't cheap. 3 points isn't worth redoing the exam over. I think you should sit tight at 461. If you don't receive ITA in Dec then January for sure. Once the score drops to 464, it should take one or two draws to drop to 461. Early next year...

You can accept the invitation, however you should wait until you have completed the three years to submit your application. Birthdays are frozen on the day of the ITA so you would be fine as well.

When I did the test I got 8.5877. I submitted the EOR for writing and speaking. It only cost the local equivalent of 60 pounds so it was a no brainer for me. It took them well over the allotted time. When the result came back only the speaking was changed to 7.5. My refund was recently processed...

If 458 is going to happen this year then it would definitely be December. You have to really hope there is B2B draw.

Ray of Hope - 129th Draw

A month ago I would say you were sure to get through before your bday but now, I dont think anyone is quite sure. Today should be 470+. If the number of ITAs increase or there is a b2b draw you get through just before your bday. Then you will have a happy bday and a merry Christmas if you...

Everything is weird this year. While we all hope there is a draw today. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't one.

Ralph Goodale lost his seat. He is the MP that helped several pr hopefuls when their application had no movement. I hope his replacement is as helpful.

466 is a reasonably safe score. Did you get 466 while claiming points for your wife's education or without?

He is being sarcastic because the minimum amount of research would tell you that 478 is a safe score. The highest score this year has been 470.

The spousal application takes on average 12 months to process. Just like the pr application takes on average 6 months.

This is the worst ROH thread I have seen in my short time following these threads. There are now so many trolls, petty bickering etc. I know the last draw hit some like a brick but jeez I didn't expect this thread to be the den of depression.

The score was 456 just two very short weeks ago. Keep hope alive. 456 is a very good score. You may get your ITA is the very next draw.

It depends on the qualifications of your spouse. He or she may be dragging your score down by 25 points.

I say unless there is something weird about your application you should save your money and do it on your own. You really don't need a consultant unless that's your preference or you need help navigating unusual problems with your file.

Have you done your ECA yet? An MBA from certain countries may not be given Masters equivalency. Consider getting the ECA done by IQAS for the most favorable results. It's a long process though. I agree that you should retake the IELTS aim for L8R7W7S7. How old are you?
