I had my oath ceremony yesterday. Im finally a canadian citizen. I do have one question, Which form I need to fill to apply for a passport? Thank you and good luck everyone

Its frustrating, I had a friend of mine who took his test same date as mine. and he already got his passport ( Like 2 weeks ago ). Mine still decision made since then

I've been decisions made since aug 8. its been 2+ months and I have not received an oath invite yet! calgary office.

Same issue. most of the people had their status changed the next day. I called IRCC and they said I have to wait 12 months then call back, makes no sense.

How long does it usually take to change the status from IP to decision made ? I passed my exam on aug/8th but its still IP.

Hi guys, I have my test tomorrow. Quick question, it says I need to bring everything on the checklist I submitted for the citizenship application .Does that include photos / fee receipt copy (i Paid online) / physical presence calculator copy ? Do I need to get all this again ? or only paperwork ?

How do you know if you having the ceremony on the same day ? I've seen couple people talking about this.

Did they mention you will do the oath ceremony same day ? if so that's really good. Mine doesnt say that unfortunately .

What does decision made mean ?

Because I did report it to the police. But in the police report it says "wallet" doesn't actually state the PR card. then I went to registry and the lady was like, oh you dont need to apply for it since you getting your citizenship . Go figure.

Will do this today. May I ask you though, why would someone file this ? ( They don't want to renew PR ) as of now my only concern is my citizenship test, since they asked me to show up with my PR card.

I wish I have the time. My test is in 19 days. By the time I have it shipped I dont think Ill get it back in time.

I tried calling them everyday, but same answer "expercing high volume of calls" I couldn't get hold of anyone, I emailed and even created a thread. Still cant talk to anyone.

I will definitely do that. The only issue is, I'm not sure if it states in the report that PR is stolen. It was inside my wallet and by that time I had lot of money stolen from my credit card. I'll definitely get a police report anyway.

Hi guys, I got invited to take the test. My problem is, I dont have my pr card (stolen around 4 months ago) is that going to be an issue ? I do have my landing papers (PR confirmation ) and all other required papers. Please advice

Hi, I was invited to take the test next month. My only concern is the PR card. I don't have the original copy due to theft ( broke into my car and stole my wallet / other stuff ). But I do have the landing papers. As I was speaking to the registry lady back then, she recommended me NOT to renew...
