sometimes the applications can't be linked. We could link my spouses application, but could not link mine.Both of us got our card on the same day.

Hi All, We landed on March 14 , got the stamped COPR and are waiting for the PR card. I have a question about our PR status...does the PR card confirm the PR status or is a stamped COPR enough to confirm PR status ? And what happens if we don't get the PR even after 6 months? I read somewhere...

you should be able to link your CIC account to PR card application. Btw how did IRCC contact you to ask for new photos? via email or postal mail?

The website just says you might have to apply again for the card. I am guessing it means sending photos and some paper work again.

I think everyone who landed in or after March 2020 are in a similar situation.Lets keep our fingers crossed.

As per the IRCC website, if we don't receive the PR card within 6 months, we have to reapply for the PR card.
