I share the same fate (or bad luck). Called IRCC and they told me is in sidney. My AOR is August 07th and they are doing the background check. Looked online and Sydney takes from 8 to 10 months to finish the application. Hope we have news soon

That is great news. That means the officer already saw your receipt and now is doing the background check.
