nope, it's for a visitor visa. That said, I did this in late Feb, and got the update on Mar 13. Not sure how they are handling this amid the pandemic. But since it's just an electronic copy, it shouldn't be that big of a deal for them to update it for you, in my opinion.

Yes, I sent them the medical results that I did for another application, which was still valid for another 10 months. Got an update about 2 weeks later.

Mine said, "Medical results have been received." after a week or two
