That's really odd its the only "217x" NOC missing... And it was the 2nd NOC with more ITA's in 2018, 2173 was 1st and 2174 was 3rd (see some 2018 EE statistics here). I've sent an email to ontarionominee@ontario.ca trying to understand what this actually means for applicants. I have no idea how...

BTW, do you have any tips on how to get those marks on IELTS? Any particular method that really helped you? I need a minimum of L/R/W/S 8.0/7.0/7.0/7.0 but my goal is 8. 5/8.0/ 7.5/7.5 (basically the ones you had :D )

As far as I know what really matters are the duties listed in your proof of work experience documents (like reference letters). If those are in line with the ones of NOC 2171 then you should be fine. Check these links for reference on NOC 2171 and reference letters samples...

NOC 2171 Totally relates to IT, I didn't mention it but I have a Bachelors in Computer Science. I can present work experience both as 2171 or 2173.
