That's not really true. My father's file was transfered to Vienna even he was in Canada from the beginning. I still got the request for the passport, sent passport to Ottawa on June 21, 2020 and still waiting for COPR. Contacted everyone I could, even my MP and no luck

Yes, I got the reminder yesterday to submit it Ottawa. It is in Ottawa since June 21. I think we are both in the same situation. Not sure what to do anymore as sending web form generates only the generic reply.

@robertp Line 237 Finally after 3 months after DM I have received email in my CIC for passport request. It came from local office in Vienna, but my father is in Canada so will be sending documents to Ottawa. So it looks like they are working again.
