Don't they give you 30 days to complete the biometric? You should have enough time to wait for the passport to return then do the biometric. I guess the study permit is meaningless if you have PR though.

I can't see how it would be possible to return in three days. It takes the VAC a day to get it and tell you they relayed it on. It takes a a day or two for it to arrive in Beijing (I thought it was HK). Then they have to process it for at minimum a day. Then they have to send it to the VAC then...

You can't have gaps like this. Jumping from 2018 to 2020 etc. You have to outline everything that happened during that time. If you were unemployed or a student, then you have to state it. Good luck
