My advice for those waiting for their PPR is to: 1) know exactly how you are going to pay the VAC online (look up bank for your city) 2) get two pictures done according to specifications I'll put below (it appears to be the same as passport photos): Make sure you provide the correct number of...

Online Notarization of Common Law Declaration

You have to sign some documents in front of the Notary Officer. You can send someone in lieu of you in some cases, but grabbing a mask and going yourself is probably the simplest option.

I wonder if they had proof of marriage. It says on the gov website and all embassies and consulates have said they can enter. My daughter and I will be accompanying my wife, so we shouldn't have much of an issue. Maybe people should bring the notarized marriage papers.

My Husband Hasn't received AOR for Jan 2020 app. Need some reaasurance

I wouldn't comepare your case to others' too much, it will cause a lot of stress. If your webform request is taking a while, then you can look over your documnents to make sure you didn't make any mistakes. That seem to be the only thing you can do to comfort yourself while you wait.

Am I eligible for CERB if I am an active Ontario Works (OW) client?

I know you can't get EI and CERB at the same time and I would imagine you receive welfare simultaneously either. I would just apply for CERB if you are confident you will get it. I am not sure what happens if you apply for both, but I'd imagine the CERB would be canceled if they say you already...

Biometrics Request Letter but Passport is in CPC Ottawa for PR Visa stamping

Don't they give you 30 days to complete the biometric? You should have enough time to wait for the passport to return then do the biometric. I guess the study permit is meaningless if you have PR though.

I can't see how it would be possible to return in three days. It takes the VAC a day to get it and tell you they relayed it on. It takes a a day or two for it to arrive in Beijing (I thought it was HK). Then they have to process it for at minimum a day. Then they have to send it to the VAC then...
