I guess it depends on the visa officer to which our case has gone to. Our eligibility review has been started but no updates yet means that our case is still in queue to be reviewed. The officer hasn’t even opened our file it seems, coz if he had opened our file then the decision would be quick...

Hey buddy, i applied from Mumbai only. I have friends from mumbai itself who had the same timeline and got their visa on 15th whereas my medical only got updated on 15th.

Did you also apply under SDS online from India?

My timeline : 5th oct - Applied 9th oct - Biometrics done and updated on same day 15th oct - medical status updated to passed No update since then. Should i need to worry?

Yes i applied from mumbai on 5th oct.. medical and biometrics are updated and eligibility review also started on 15th oct but no update after that.

Hey, my medical status shows i passed medical on 15th oct and the eligibility review also started on that day itself, and it’s 22nd oct today and i haven’t received any update yet.

I guess the visa officer wasn’t convinced when he read your SOP.. improve your SOP and specifically mention that you intend to come back after you complete your studies in canada.. Also explain how your course has job prospects here back in India

At what time did you receive this decision?

I had given medical exam long before i filed my visa.. i attached the acknowledgement of my medical when i filed for my visa under SDS on 5th oct.. and i passed medical on 15th oct

I’ve got 7 bands overall and not less than 6.5 in each.

My timeline - 5th oct - applied 9th oct - bio update 15th oct - medical passed Waiting for decision. Many people with similar timeline got their visa on 16th and 17th oct. I still haven’t received any update on my visa. Any idea why they’re taking so long?
